Programming
Solo Fitness is
designed to work with a wide range of individuals. Trainers’ specialties are
carefully matched with the needs of clients. Specialties include: core
stability, strength, flexibility, body alignment, aerobic dance, body
sculpting, cardiovascular conditioning, restorative and recuperative
exercise, osteoporosis prevention/treatment and posture correction.
To compliment your
one-on-one fitness
training, we highly encourage our clientele to diversify. Bottom-line:
your body changes when your routine changes. Therefore, programming has
expanded to include:
- yoga
- mat-Pilates
- GYROKINESIS
- Flamenco & Belly Dance
- In-home Massage (no table necessary)
- In-office Massage (in the comfort of
your own chair)
Your First Session
Your first session is a comprehensive
physical assessment administered by Lisa Hoffman, M.A.. After completing
your fitness goals and medical history forms with Lisa, you will perform
several fitness tests that will help us determine the proper training
protocol. These tests might include:
- Heart Rate and Blood Pressure
- Girth Measurements
- Body Fat Measurements
- Cardiovascular Fitness
- Flexibility
- Muscle Strength and Endurance
Soon after, you will begin a one-on-one
program with your trainer. In some cases it will be necessary for us
to contact your physician for additional information and recommendations
before you start working with your trainer.

Women’s Fitness Issues Over 40
Our Better Than Ever Program
focuses on women over 40 who want to minimize the effects of the
menopause and the physical signs of aging. We help women achieve a
higher level of fitness. Our program of regular exercise can help
alleviate the symptoms of the menopause, lower the risk of heart
disease and reduce the risk of osteoporosis.

Post-Partum Fitness:
(starting 4-6 weeks
post delivery)
Our focus is
helping you Recuperate and Rejuvenate after giving birth.
Including:
Strengthening the
abdominal area (to diminish any muscle separation due to diastasis)
Core exercises to
eliminate back pain
Kegel exercises to
support the pelvic floor
Stretching the
chest area and supporting the back
Help decrease
stress and anxiety because of ALL these changes
